LEGACY has been the central tenant for the reunion since we started this discussion in Cary last October. The LEGACY left to us by our Kemper forbearers is significant. With this LEGACY comes the responsibility to live our lives and educate our children so the Kemper LEGACY not only lives on but grows in each succeeding generation.
Our Reunion Commons
Every little New England town had several Commons – places set aside for the villages to use alone or together for the common good. Several hundred years after their use evolved to public recreation, New England Villages are still very proud of their Commons and what they have always meant to the wealth and health of their citizens over the years. Our Reunion Commons will be at the lovely home of Jerry and Lucy Pieh. They have graciously said that we all should consider their home in Arrowsic as the gathering place to find, meet, connect, or just visit with other members of the family from Thursday through Saturday. The Friday evening core Reunion activities will be there, too. (See the Activities, Events, Entertainment and Accommodations page on this web site) There are lots of things you will want to do other than meet and talk with family while you are in Maine, and you should make plans and leave time for them. (See the Activities, etc. page) So leave time for those things, but come to Our Reunion Commons for everything having to do with The Family. It can
happen right at Lucy and Jerry’s house. The Pieh's address is on the secure Meet the Family page on the bottom at the Family Contact information download. Parking might get tight sometimes so please park with the other guy in mind. OK? Also please drive slowly as it is a very small, curvy road.

The Reunion Begins
July 29th 4-7 PM
Gather at Jerry and Lucy Pieh’s home for games, drinks, and an informal dinner. This is a casual way to begin to connect, to meet members of the family you don’t know, and to make plans for some spontaneous fun.
Lunch at Pieh’s
July 30th 12 PM
This is a BYO lunch at Pieh’s or go to a place of your choosing. For suggestions about things to do, places to go, and places to eat, go to the FAQ & Info tab, then look for “Places to go and things to do while visiting.”
The Reunion Main Event at the Pieh's
July 30th 4 -10 PM
We will all gather at the Pieh’s – the bar will be open! There will be a group photo at about 5:00, then a few minutes of reflections for family members who have gone before us, followed by a Down East lobster bake (chicken, hot dogs will also be available), and of course the evening will not be complete without a sing along.
Reunion Wrap-up
July 31st 8-11:30 AM
Gather casually at the Pieh’s coffee and juice. You will be on your own for a proper breakfast. And, sigh, the reunion officially concludes at noon.
